Dancer pain is not normal.

As a dancer, I was told that what I felt didn’t matter - especially pain of any kind. This taught me to ignore my body’s warning lights, with disastrous consequences.

Now, as a coach, I believe no one is more in-tune with your body than YOU.

I know you’ve probably heard that pain is just “the price we pay” as dancers. I believed that too. So I pushed through pain again and again... until it cost me my ballet career.

The truth? Pain is a warning light.
Just like a dashboard signal in your car, it's there for a reason — to tell you something needs attention. Ignore it too long, and you're headed for a breakdown.
